Debenhams Middle East Terms & Conditions

1. These Terms and Conditions govern this competition. Participation in this Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions is invalid. Please keep a copy for your records.
   Debenhams Middle East is operated by M.H. Alshaya Co. W.L.L and any of their affiliates (hereinafter together called “Alshaya Group” for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions).

HOW TO ENTER

1. The competition commences on November 6th ,2024 at 10:00am Kuwait Time and closes on November 13th, 2024 at 11:00pm Kuwait Time (the “Competition Period”).
2. To enter this competition entrant must:
   1. Have their own individual Instagram account.
   2. Follow @debenhamsmiddleeast and @jackandjones on Instagram, for the avoidance of doubt all entrants must be following @debenhamsmiddleeast at the time of selection.
   3. Tag 3 of participant friends with hashtag #DebenhamsxRedFraktion + Your Resident flag in the comments section
   4. Be a resident of: Kuwait, UAE only.
3. All steps in clause 2 constitute one entry, and multiple unique entries are accepted, as long as the entrant has met all the entry criteria on each submission and each submission is different. No automated, bulk, third party consumer group or other group entries are permitted.
4. By entering this competition entrant agrees to allow Debenhams Middle East and Alshaya Group to repost the submission on their Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter accounts, website and within any promotional piece.
5. All submissions will be the property of Alshaya Group and by entering into this competition the winner agrees to reasonable publicity. Alshaya Group may use the name and any photos from the submission for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without compensation. Each entrant warrants to Alshaya Group that his or her entry does not and will not infringe the intellectual property rights of any person.
6. Debenhams Middle East and Alshaya Group are not responsible for incomplete or late entries. Late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected responses will be deemed invalid.

WHO CAN ENTER

7. Entrants can be between the age of 18 and above, residents of UAE and Kuwait and not employees of Debenhams Middle East, Alshaya Group, their immediate families, or anyone else connected with this promotion.
8. Each entrant must provide a valid name, contact number, and email address on request. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that his or her entry will not be obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, immoral, or encouraging of conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability or violate any law or regulation.

HOW TO WIN

9. The winner will be notified via Instagram direct message
10. The winner will be announced on November 14, 2024.
11. Entrants who are not winners will not receive any notification at all.

THE PRIZE

12. The gift will only be on selected Jack & Jones items only.
13. 1 winner will receive a voucher equivalent to: 50 KD |500 AED.
14. Prizes are valid for 15 days from the date of announcing the winner. Each winner is required to claim the prize by showing the digital voucher to the store sent to them via direct message on Instagram. Failure to claim the prize by then will result in the prize being void.
15. The winner is required to respond within 48 hours of notification in order to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this time period will result in the prize being void and an alternative winner will be selected.
16. The winner must accept all parts of the prize; the prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and there are no cash alternatives.
17. To redeem the prize in store, the winner must bring at least one form of identification (passport, Civil ID, etc) and is required to sign a release form.

OTHER

17. The winners agree to participate in any promotional activities associated with the prize such as public appearances, photo opportunities or general media purposes as might be required by Debenhams Middle East and Alshaya Group. The winners agree that Debenhams Middle East and Alshaya Group may use the winners’ submissions, likenesses and images for any purpose related to the prize and competition.
18. Debenhams Middle East and Alshaya Group assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries.
19. The personal data submitted as part of the entry process will only be used as outlined in Alshaya Group’s Privacy Policy which is available at http://www.alshaya.com/en/privacy-policy. By entering into this competition, entrants are deemed to have read and agreed to such policy.
20. By entering this competition, all entrants consent to receiving marketing information (including promotions and offers) from Debenhams Middle East and Alshaya Group by SMS, email or telephone. Entrants may opt out from such marketing by un-ticking the box opposite or by contacting Alshaya Group any time via email at customerservice@alshaya.com
21. This competition is promoted by Debenhams Middle East and Alshaya Group and is in no way endorsed, sponsored, or administered by Instagram nor is it in any other way associated with Instagram. By participating in this competition, entrants agree to a complete release of Instagram from any claims.
22. By uploading content to this page (including photos and videos) entrants grant Alshaya Group a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, broadcast, distribute, edit and publish such material in any media now known or hereafter developed, for Alshaya Group and any of their affiliated entities' business purposes. Entrants agree not to hold Debenhams Middle East or Alshaya Group liable for any claims arising out of the use of the content entrants have uploaded. Entrants also irrevocably waive any "moral rights" or other rights in any material that they submit.
23. Photos, stories and entries containing offensive content or content which condones, promotes or encourages any illegal or immoral activities of any nature, are not permitted and will not be considered.
24. In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of this competition or for any other reason, Debenhams Middle East and Alshaya Group reserve the right to terminate this competition, amend these Terms & Conditions, or disqualify any entrant. For the avoidance of doubt this includes any entrant who enters multiple times with the same image as determined by Debenhams Middle East or Alshaya Group in their sole discretion.
25. Debenhams Middle East and Alshaya Group’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Debenhams Middle East and Alshaya Group reserve the right to substitute the prize for another prize of equal or greater value.
26. This competition is governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait.
