KidZania is an award-winning concept that is globally recognized for its unique blend of entertainment and education – edutainment. The child-centric city is all about fun! It is also designed to educate and inspire children up to 14 year-olds to get ready for a better world by fostering and developing their life skills in a fun and dynamic setting.

The scaled-down city replicates the real world in a safe and self-contained 7,000 square meter facility. Children can choose from 78 engaging establishments and role-play 100 exciting roles, which include being a police officer, doctor, journalist or a shopkeeper – and, just like in the real world, they can earn kidZos, KidZania's currency, to either spend or save. KidZania operates like a real city complete with buildings, paved streets, vehicles, a functioning economy, and recognizable destinations in the form of "establishments" sponsored by Marketing Partners who represent leading multi-national, regional, and local brands.

Inspired by the essence of KidZania’s values, the KidZania Card supports empowering children, as they learn the value of financial planning by managing the cash amounts on their KidZania cards. The card helps parents control their children’s spending in the city by crediting an amount of money onto the cards. This means children learn how to budget and spend their cash limits wisely which promotes a sense of responsibility and financial planning. Children can use the multi-purpose gift card on a fantastic range of merchandise at the facility’s National Store, or while dining and shopping at select outlets in KidZania Kuwait.

The KidZania Card may be topped up at any time to use as payment for admission tickets into the children’s city. With a validity of 12 months, holders of The KidZania Card may use the card at their leisure at KidZania Kuwait.

Q. Where can I get a KidZania Card?
A. The KidZania Card is now available at KidZania Kuwait’s airport counters and National Store till points. Simply ask for a KidZania Card and top it up with any amount to start making purchases.

A. Within KidZania Kuwait only. The KidZania Card is accepted at KidZania Kuwait’s airport counters, The National Store, and at the following select outlets within KidZania Kuwait: Starbucks, Potbelly, Pinkberry, PizzaExpress.

Q. If I am given a KidZania Card, how quickly can I use it?
A. Immediately. As soon as the transaction is completed the balance is available for you to spend.

Q. Is there a time limit on the usage of the card?
A. Any value on the card becomes invalid 12 months from the date the card was last topped up, but you can top it up as many times as you wish.

Q. How do I know what value is stored on my KidZania Card?
A. You can do a balance enquiry on your card at KidZania Kuwait’s airport counters, The National Store, and at the following select outlets within KidZania Kuwait: Starbucks, Potbelly, Pinkberry, PizzaExpress. Every time you use your card you will receive a receipt showing your balance and the validity date. You can also call the Customer Service team in Kuwait on 182 12 12.

Q. Can I use The KidZania Card in other Alshaya retail stores or restaurants?
A. No. The KidZania Card is only accepted in KidZania Kuwait.

Q. Can a customer use and/or top up an Alshaya card in KidZania Kuwait?
A. Yes. You are able to do this at KidZania Kuwait’s airport counters, The National Store, and at the following select outlets within KidZania Kuwait: Starbucks, Potbelly, Pinkberry, PizzaExpress.

Q. Can I use The KidZania Card in other countries?
A. You may only use The KidZania Card in KidZania Kuwait.

  • The KidZania Card may only be used to purchase goods in stores in KidZania Kuwait. KidZania Cards will also be used to make customer refunds for retail purchases. Please refer to our Exchange and Refund Policy in store.
  • The KidZania Card may not be redeemed for cash under any circumstances.
  • The KidZania Card has a validity of 12 months from the date the card was last topped up.
  • If an item is purchased using The KidZania Card the remaining balance and The KidZania Card validity date will be shown on the receipt. This information can also be provided by our Customer Service team.
