Fragrance brand Le Labo makes Middle East debut
18 Feb 2017
Le Labo has made its Middle East foray with the opening of its first store at the Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Known for its unisex, 100 per cent vegan fragrances, perfume oils and candles, Le Labo opened in Manhattan in 2006, and its Santal 33 scent, in particular, has garnered a huge following.
Designed as a fragrance lab, the new store offers a unique & personal experience to its customers. Each scent or candle from Le Labo is personalized in-store with the customer's name, location and date of purchase. You can also opt for a customized travel tube, engraved on-site with your initials.
Originating in Grasse, the capital of perfumery located in the French Riviera, the Le Labo brand has a collection of 15 fragrances created by Fabrice Penot and Edouard Roschi.
Today, the core of the Le Labo collection is their array of unisex perfumes and soy-based wax candles created by some of the world's best noses and using the most qualitative vegan ingredients. The number in the fragrance name indicates the number of notes in its composition, and the name of the material (Vetiver, Jasmin, Labdanum) refers to the most prominent note within.
Le Labo is about quality and authenticity, which can be seen in their product's exclusivity and individuality. Each creation at Le Labo speaks a unique story that combines the efforts of craftswomen and craftsmen - the perfumer, the lab technician, the candle pourer, the rose harvester, and inspiration that stems from the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi (the art of imperfection).
