Alshaya Organises Blood Donation Clinic at its Shuwaikh Head Office

M. H. Alshaya Co., in partnership with the Kuwait Central Blood Bank, recently organised a blood donation clinic at its Head Office in Shuwaikh. Many head office employees participated and donated much needed blood during the clinic, which was held in the company's recently opened Employee Medical Centre.

The donated blood will be used to save the lives of many people, especially women giving birth, premature babies, and people involved in accidents. In line with Alshaya's goal of promoting employee well-being, the event was also used to actively communicate Kuwait Central Blood Bank's messages about the need for safe blood.

Reem Alradwan, Director of Blood Transfusion at the Ministry of Health, commented: "We are pleased that Alshaya is participating in our campaign to promote awareness of the importance of securing a source of safe blood, which is critical to saving many people's lives. There is an increasing need for more blood, so we really appreciate Alshaya's timely contribution."

Dr Wael Malas, Head of the Medical Centre at M. H. Alshaya Co., commented: "We were delighted to be able to use our recently opened Medical Centre to host the Kuwait Blood Bank and arrange for much needed donations. Support for the programme reinforced the commitment of Alshaya, and of our employees, to make a positive contribution to the local community.
