John Hadden is Chief Executive of Alshaya Group. A specialist in retail and property management, John has spent most of his career with Alshaya, first joining the company in 1997 as Property Director. In 2018 he became Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Chief Executive in 2020. John holds an MSc in project management from Reading University and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Rajul Batra
Chief Financial Officer
Rajul Batra joined Alshaya Group in 2011 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing extensive international experience to the role. He joined the company from Inscape Plc, where he was Chief Financial Officer for the company’s Russian business. Prior to that, Rajul spent 18 years with PepsiCo, initially as Financial Controller for operations in India. Rajul holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours) from the Shri Ram College of Commerce at Delhi University. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Steve Vickerstaff
Chief Operating Officer
Steve joined Alshaya in 1997 as a regional operations manager for the company’s fashion division following an early career with Marks & Spencer, graduating from their management training scheme. After joining Alshaya he was promoted to increasingly senior roles, including management responsibility for Alshaya’s Southern Gulf Region, Director of Operations, Fashion & Footwear, and Business Director for Debenhams across the Gulf region. In 2020 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Alshaya Group.
Andy Holmes
President - Starbucks
Andy Holmes has been part of Alshaya’s leadership since 2012. He joined the company to lead the Starbucks business in the Middle East and North Africa, based out of Kuwait and was later appointed as President of Starbucks with overall accountability for the brand across MENA, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.
In his role, Andy is focused on the continuing the development of the brand and delivering the Strategic objectives to support this growth, which includes sponsorship of its current tech and digital transformation programme as well as ongoing expansion of the Starbucks store network across the region.
Prior to joining Starbucks, Andy worked for Whitbread plc, a UK hospitality group, where he held a number of operational leadership and development roles for both the TGI Fridays and Costa Coffee brands. Andy holds a Diploma in Management from the University of Gloucestershire Business School.
Minu Alexander
President- H&M
Minu Alexander joined Alshaya Group in 2001 as an Assistant Merchandiser, working in several Brands within High Fashion. In 2006, she was chosen to be part of the set-up and launch of H&M in the Middle East. During her time with H&M, she held various roles within Planning, Supply Chain and Business Finance through to her appointment as Merchandising Director.
In 2020 she was promoted to Vice President of H&M, then most recently in January 2024, she took the role of President of the H&M Division, comprising of H&M, COS, & Other Stories, Monki and H&M Home.
Minu holds a B.Sc Computer Science Degree from Bharathiyar University and MBA in Marketing from Avinashilingam Deemed University in India. During her time in Alshaya she also completed the Alshaya Leadership Program, the NBK RISE Women’s Leadership Program and a course in ‘Strategy and Management for Competitive Advantage’ Program at Wharton’s, University of Pennsylvania.
Saleh Alshaya
President – Apparel
Saleh joined Alshaya in 2007 as Business Development Director. During his tenure, he has served in various retail and strategy leadership roles of increasing seniority. In 2020, Saleh served as President of the H&M Division, and in 2024 took on the role of President of the Apparel Division. Saleh started his career in the U.S., working for six years in investment banking and private equity. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jeff Kellen
President - Hospitality
In 2012 Jeff joined Alshaya as a Business Director for Home and Wafi brands. Over his career at Alshaya, he has been Business Director for The Cheesecake Factory, Vice President of The Cheesecake Factory, Vice President of Casual Dining before being named President of Hospitality in May of 2023.Jeff has a degree in Political Science from the University of Northern Iowa.
Rebecca Jobo
President – Wellness
A highly accomplished leader with over 20 years of solid experience and records of achievements in the retail industry across Luxury Retail Fashion and Beauty, both in the US and Middle East. Skilled in leading large teams, able to coach, grow and develop a business retail function. She is currently the President of the Wellness Division in Alshaya Group with more than 15 international brands across MENA region.
Graeme Cook
Chief People Officer
Graeme joined Alshaya in October 2022 as Chief People Officer. Graeme has significant international experience having been assigned to leadership roles in the UK, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. He has over 30 years’ of experience in finance and HR leadership roles in several blue-chip companies across four industry sectors. Graeme was previously Group People Director and a member of the Executive Committee of Keller Group plc for almost six years. Prior to this, he was Group HR Director for EnQuest PLC where he helped establish that Company from an IPO and helped grow it into the largest independent Oil & Gas producer in the UK. Graeme received an MA (Hons) in Accountancy & Economics from the University of Dundee in 1991.
Richard Morgan
Chief Transformation Officer
Richard Morgan joined Alshaya Group in 2005 as Managing Director of Boots to oversee the successful launch and roll-out of the brand in Alshaya's markets. He became President of the company’s Health & Beauty Division in 2012. In 2020 Richard was appointed President of the Wellness Division with his portfolio responsibility expanded to include Home Furnishings. In 2024, he was made Chief Transformation Officer.
Paul Morris
Chief Customer & Technology Officer
Paul joined Alshaya Group in 2019 as the Group’s Chief Digital Officer and is now the Chief Customer & Technology Officer . He has extensive international experience in digital transformation, marketing and business development in large companies across a number of sectors. Prior to Alshaya Group, Paul worked with Specsavers as Group E-commerce and Digital Director, building the company’s digital strategy. Paul has spent most of his career with Tesco PLC, operating in a senior capacity in a number of senior roles. In addition to winning numerous awards for his work, Paul also holds a degree in Economics & Geography from Nottingham University.
