Aura celebrates 1.2M GCC members across the region

Alshaya Group, one of the world's leading international franchise operators is proud to announce that their new loyalty programme AURA has registered over 1.2M members across the region, since its launch. The programme was recently launched in the UAE, following its successful launch in Qatar and Kuwait earlier this year. 

The innovative scheme lets customers redeem points and unlock benefits across a uniquely wide choice of over 70 world-class retail brands, with points earned in-store, in restaurants and online.

Speaking to the media at The Avenues - Kuwait, John Hadden, Chief Executive Officer, Alshaya Group said: “Aura is an exciting new way for us to thank our customers for their loyalty and let them know that they are special. In the past 2 months, we have exceeded over 600K members in Kuwait, our home market, alone and we’re extremely proud to be celebrating 1.2M members across the region in such a short time span.”

Aura members can earn and redeem points across their favourite brands, access a range of personalised shopping, dining, and lifestyle experiences, and receive priority notification of promotions and sales events across a portfolio that includes H&M, American Eagle, Mothercare, Victoria’s Secret, The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang’s, Shake Shack, Bath & Body Works, Boots, M·A·C, Pottery Barn, and West Elm. Members also get the chance to earn points through the brands’ e-commerce sites. 

Aura membership is open to everyone aged 18 and above.  It is free, quick, and easy to join, and members can use the Aura MENA app to track their benefits and access their rewards. Joining is as simple as downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play or registering for Aura in any participating Alshaya store or restaurant.

From fashion to beauty, home furnishings to dining, members collect points every time they spend. Points can be used for future purchases or to access experiences such as a personalised gourmet treat, a bespoke shopping experience or a pampering beauty treatment.

Plans are already underway to launch Aura in all Alshaya markets in the GCC and beyond with Saudi Arabia coming in the next few weeks.  Aura members will be able to earn and redeem rewards wherever they shop across the GCC, as each of these markets is included in the Aura programme.
