Pinkberry opens first store outside the US in Kuwait

M. H. Alshaya introduced the first international Pinkberry store at The Avenues on 1st Oct. 2009, adding a new trend to the culinary world of the Middle East, introducing the successful Pinkberry frozen yoghurt chain in Kuwait.

The popularly known Swirly Goodness will initially offer a tangy yet refreshing taste to the visitors. The cup of goodness can be enjoyed in three distinct flavours, Original, Green Tea and Pomegranate. Rich in calcium, vitamins and minerals this non-fat frozen yoghurt has been certified by the National Yogurt Association of the U.S. The Swirly Goodness can be further enjoyed by choosing a wide variety of toppings ranging from fresh fruits to Belgian chocolates.

Pinkberry is headquartered in California with a large number of outlets spread across southern California and New York. Since it was launched, Pinkberry has set the standards in the frozen yoghurt category in the U.S. To the extent that today, one would not be surprised to see Hollywood stars visiting the Pinkberry stores. Based on this success, Pinkberry aims to provide its customers with an overall healthy experience. Pinkberry has extensive expansion plans in the region with two outlets to be opened in Dubai and one outlet in Bahrain within this year.
